All the way back to 1991, from his Zoo Boogaloo night at the Starfish Room , Cherry Bombs at Sonar during the latter half of the 1990s (both with DJ Czech) to the Big Sexy Funk night at Shine today, Scotty's been spinning records trying to find that combination of different sounds that all revolve around one word: funk.
